First Play Fridays: The Garden Trilogy and The Loop

Aqua Garden. You run a struggling aquarium with six empty tanks, a tight budget, and exactly one overworked employee. Race around the shared board grabbing sea creatures, then work out who can share a tank with whom. Keep the sharks apart, add seaweed for oxygen, and build the most dazzling aquarium in town. It looks charming and plays surprisingly cleverly. 1–4 players · ~60 min

Dino Garden. This is the brand-new standalone sequel to Aqua Garden, from the same Japanese designer, and this time you’re opening a dinosaur park. Herbivores breed, keepers dash around delivering meat, and your carnivores had better be fed on time. Juggle volcanoes, lakes, and the food chain to build a park that is uniquely yours. If you love Aqua Garden, this is the natural next step, so play both back to back. 1–4 players · 60–90 min

The LOOP. The evil Dr. Foo has built a time machine and is hopping through history, cloning himself and tearing rifts in spacetime. You and your fellow time agents team up to stop him. It’s fully cooperative, so everyone wins or loses together. The twist is that you can “loop” your cards and reuse them for chain reactions that save the timeline. It’s quirky and tense, and it’s a blast with a full table. 1–4 players · ~60 min
