HOUSE RULES

1 | THE "HI" RULE
A simple hello goes a long way toward keeping our community strong. If you see a new face and they look unsure, take a moment to help them settle in.

2 | TAKE IT EASY
We've all played with people who are a little too intense about winning - impatiently pointing out forgotten rules, making people replay rounds over honest mistakes, etc. Unless there's an agreement otherwise, keep it relaxed and fun.

3 | TAKE CARE OF THE SPACE
We designed Tabletop Library to be a nice place, and need your help keeping it that way. Allow time to return games the way you found them. If you lose or damage a piece, no problem, just let us know so we can replace it. Eat and drink here, but be mindful of greasy hands and strong smells.

4 | EARLY IS ON TIME
When you RSVP to an event or open table with other members, they're counting on you! Arrive five or ten minutes early so the game can start on time. Life happens, so if you need to cancel that's OK - just let everyone know as soon as you can.

5 | Be here when you're here
We've found keeping the phone in the pocket during play helps everyone enjoy themselves. Quick phone checks are fine - just step away from the table. Being present is part of the fun.
