Everyone’s a beginner at a game they’ve never played.
Join TTL’s David to meet fellow members and learn new games together. Sessions are informal: we’ll warm up with shorter, simpler fare (backgammon, a card game) before picking a new game to learn as a group.
No experience needed. Expect games that favor conversation and cooperation over cutthroat competition for starters; we’ll see what shakes out from there.
Backgammon involves strategic movement and capture of checkers based on dice rolls, with the goal of being the first to bear off all pieces. Players can increase stakes using a doubling cube, balancing risk and reward in a race format.
