Thanks for a great Boo-nanza!

We celebrated our very first Halloween at Tabletop Library with the Boo-nanza. Things kicked off in the morning with kid (and toy) battles, crept into spooky afternoon favorites, and closed out after dark with the hidden role masterpiece, Blood on the Clocktower. Honestly, we're wishing Halloween came around every month.

First Annual Costume Contest Winners

You all brought it. Congratulations to our winners:

• Best Cardboard Costume: a tie between the Ava, the Queen of Hearts and the Pigeon
• Best Costume: our tiny astronaut, Harry, stole the show
• Best Board Game Inspired Costume: Amanda the panda from Takenoko

Toy Battle Tournament

After multiple rounds of head-to-head action, Milo M. claimed the top spot. Michael V and Axel F also placed, rounding out a fiercely fought bracket.

What We Played

The lineup spanned the whole day and every age: Rhino Hero XXL, Broom Service, Spectral, Mysterium, Endangered Orphans, Nemesis, Ito, Please Write Death Name, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Blood on the Clocktower. Some of our members dressed as Hollywood stars to solve the mysterious death of "Henry Stewart" at our Deadly Dinner murder mystery.

Thank you to everyone who came out in costume, played along, and made our first Halloween one to remember. We're already dreaming up next year's. 🎃
