Beowulf’s companions compete for the greatest renown by helping the hero survive his legendary trials and positioning themselves to succeed him as king.
Gameplay
Players bid skill cards in a sequence of story events to win rewards and avoid injuries, sometimes risking draws for better bids at the cost of being forced out. Every round is a nerve test of how much strength to spend now versus saving for deadlier trials and outguessing opponents’ bids.
